2021 Free Dress Days

​​​This information applies to ALL College students, Prep to Year 12.

Each year, students show their support for various causes and charities by dressing up and on occasion, giving a gold coin donation.

Students and Heads of Department have identified the following causes to support:

Term 1 -
19th March Harmony Day (no donation)
Wear something orange

26th March Epilepsy Awareness (no donation)
Wear something purple

- or -

26th March Cross Country (no donation)
Wear house colours

1st April last day of Term 1 (no donation)
Wear something Easter themed (both Campuses are welcome to participate)

Term 2 -
9th June State of Origin (gold coin)
Wear anything sport related

11th June Senior Campus (only) Athletic Carnival (no donation)
Wear house colours

17th and 18th June Junior Campus (only) Athletic Carnival (no donation)
Wear house colours

Term 3
24th August Senior Campus Book Week Costume Dress Up (no donation)
"Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds" POSTPONED

26th August Junior Campus Book Week Costume Dress Up (no donation)
"Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds" POSTPONED

Term 4
October 29 Day For Daniel (no donation)
Wear something red

2nd November Senior Campus Book Week Costume Dress Up (no donation)
"Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds" RESCHEDULED

4th November Junior Campus Book Week Costume Dress Up (no donation)
"Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds" RESCHEDULED

December 10 Last day of Term 4 (no donation)
Wear something holiday or Christmas themed

Guidelines:

Normal school rules apply to all other aspects of the day with students required to dress sensibly and meet the requirements of Occupational Health and Safety. The following conditions should be noted:

  • Footwear: Enclosed flat soled shoes only
  • Tops: No strapless tops; No revealing tops; No midriff tops
  • Slogans: No inappropriate or offensive slogans on any clothing
  • Skirts & Tops: All skirts and shorts to be of modest length

Students who fail to meet this dress code could be withdrawn from classes and parents contacted with requests for more suitable clothing.
