The Junior Campus Track and Field (Athletics) Carnival will be held on the Thursday 17th and Friday 18th June.

Thursday 17th June consists of running races, sprints and relays. The Tuckshop will be open as normal, and Year 12 students will be selling chocolates, drinks and chips to raise money for their formal.

Friday 18th June is the fun day full of different activities, as well as the usual long jump, shot put and high jump. Year 12 students will be running a bbq (sausage sandwiches) and chocolates, drinks and chips as well. Menu and pricing will be released soon. The tuckshop will operate as normal.

We suggest parents attend on the Friday as there will be more activities to watch, food on sale and less down time.

Please remember that if you are unwell, please stay at home.

Bayside Primary Track and Field

Ten, Eleven and Twelve year old students have the opportunity to compete at Bayside Primary Track and Fields if they meet specific times or distances.

We are allocated places for the top TWO eligible students at Bayside Primary Track and Field.

This means that a student may come first at the College, however still not be eligible to go to Bayside as the time or distance may not qualify.

Alternatively, a student may come third and have a qualifing time or distance, but can not attend as only the top two have places. The times and distance are taken from the Carnival day itself.

As we don't have the 2021 qualifying distances and times yet, I have included the 2019 list below as an approximate guide.

The Bayside Primary Track and Field Committee have a reminder on their entry information that we must be strict with the qualifying marks. The students 'have a go' at the school competitions. If the top athlete in the school does not manage to meet the qualifying time or distance, they are not eligible to attend Bayside Competitions.
